Woodlands Park is situated between the Solent coast and the New Forest, and is bordered by the towns of Lymington and New Milton.
The peaceful park is situated in Hordle, semi-rural village and like many New Forest parishes Hordle has no village centre.
A predominantly rural Parish outside the National Park lying within swathes of Green-Belt land devoted mainly to agricultural or horticultural use and also containing significant woodland areas. The village is a pleasant 15-minute walk from the park, or you can opt for local transport as there is a bus stop outside the park, offering regular services. A small number of shops are situated in Hordle, however you are not far from New Milton.
